The best stalls in town, only here, only today! The freshest merchandise, still has that juicy smell of something that lay in the sun for three months, until you finally came along and bought it.

The market is where everyone gathers in order to buy produce. Half of the stalls offer meats or vegetables, the other half offer clothes and jewellery, but here and there you’ll find a stall that offers something unusual. It might be something you’d expect to see at a fashionable store, or maybe something you’ve never seen and there’s nothing like it in the markets of the land from which you came.

The market can be a gate to the local culture, an interesting place to hang around and absorb some of the atmosphere, hear rumours, and learn important names. In the market you can find the common folk, lower to middle class, but because it’s usually placed in a big village square or an open public space, the rich may need to pass through on occasion as well. This is usually the first place you’ll turn to in search of adventuring gear, whether common or rare.
